Summary of the Lion Pride Funding Process
  • First, the coach from an EHS Athletic Team fills out a Funding Request Form
    for their funding request. 
  • Coaches requests are submitted to and reviewed by the EHS Athletic Director
    and a recommendation for funding is made to Lion Pride. 
  • The coach then brings their request to the Lion Pride meeting to be presented and
    reviewed by the Board for approval. 
    The request form asks for a price quote for the product requested, which includes shipping, tax or any other expenses associated with the request,  and a general description of how it will be utilized by the sport.  

The goal of Lion Pride is to provide funding for items that will support the athletes and teams, and hopefully be utilized for more than one season.  We ask that items purchased be inventoried and tracked so they will be available to current and future teams.  Coaches are not paid directly for items purchased.   We cannot fund or supplement coach salaries.  All requests are reviewed for approval on an individual basis by the Lion Pride Board. 
Lion Pride meetings are held the 3rd Monday of each month at EHS.
